Telangana Chenetha Maggam Scheme 2023 Registration
The handloom Minister of Telangana State has given a special gift to the weavers of Telangana State on National Handloom Day. This scheme has been announced by Handloom Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao during the Handloom Day on 7th August 2023. Under this scheme, all the handloom weavers of Telangana State will be given a new looking to their machines. All old machines will be converted into new machines. Handloom weavers will also be given Identity Cards by the Government. The main objective of launching this scheme is to increase the production and craftsmanship of handloom weavers.
Under this scheme pit looms will be converted into frame looms by the government. The age of handloom weavers has been raised by the government from 59 to 75 years. All machines will be changed under this scheme; it will cost RS 38,000 per machine. If a handloom artisan dies due to some reason, then RS 5 lakh will be deposited in his family’s account within 10 days.
