The assembly elections are about to be held in Telangana, that’s why the Chief Minister of Telangana has gifted a new scheme to the minority communities of Telangana. Telangana State Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has launched the Minority Scheme 2023 for the minorities’ communities. This scheme was launched by the Chief Minister on 23rd July 2023. Under this, financial assistance of RS 1 lakh will be provided by the government to the people of the minority community of Telangana State. No interest rate will be charged by the government for this subsidy.
Chief Minister has issued an order to give RS 1 lakh to minority communities with a 100% subsidy. This scheme has been launched under the Telangana State Minorities Welfare Department. Chandrasekhar Rao said during the announcement of this scheme that the Telangana Government will launch several schemes to make the minority community self-reliant and alleviate their poverty.

- The main objective of this scheme is to end the poverty of minority communities in society.
- Under this scheme, minorities category people can establish their businesses and become economically strong.
- Beneficiaries will not have to return their subsidy amount under this scheme.
- Under this scheme, a financial subsidy of Rs 1 lakh will be provided to the minority, so that they can do any of their business studies and make economic progress.
- Under this scheme, this amount will be provided to only one member of a family.
TS Minority Bandhu Scheme Eligibility
- Only Telangana residents can apply for this scheme.
- Minorities’ communities’ people can apply for this scheme.
- The annual income of the applying urban applicant should be less than RS 2 lakh.
- The annual income of the applying rural applicant should be less than Rs 1.5 lakh.
- The age of the applying applicant should be between 21 years to 55 years.
